I have no willpower when it comes to 3 for 2 offers.
Burt's Bees are one of those companies that looks great but that never got me excited enough to give them a proper try. When I saw this head to toe kit in the 3 for 2 offer, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give it a proper try.
Now, I have used a couple of products before but it was never for a long run of time. I had them when I worked for Lush and the skin on my hands became ridiculously dry (hands constantly in water). Nothing worked at that time so I just gave up buying anything.
It's easier now and I'm finding that the L'Occitane 20% Hand Cream and 25% Cuticle Cream just aren't working for me anymore. Am hoping the thickness of Burt's products will do something useful.

I am a Soap & Glory addict right now and my skin has also exploded.
I have no idea if it's hormones or stress but my skin has become extra oily, extra sensitive and random bits swell up (I woke up with a fat lip this morning and I can feel my eyebrow puffing out now).
I've bought DrSpot in an attempt to treat the spots that are appearing and their light facial lotion to put some moisture back in without turning my face into an oily mess.

Staying on the topic of oily mess, I also took a trip into Lush for some cleanser.
Dark Angels is an amazing facial cleanser/scrub for dull, oily skin that's prone to breakouts. It contains charcoal, black sugar, Rhassoul mud, Sandalwood and Avocado. Last time my skin went super oily, this used a few times a week really helped calm it down.
The box with 'Sparkle' on it is full of solid toothpaste. Lush call them "Toothy tabs" and they use less packaging and chemical nasties than traditional liquid toothpaste. The idea is that you take a tab, crunch it up then brush with the foam. They've recently changed the formula, so now it foams up more and leaves less bits around the teeth.

Lee Stafford hair products are, for the most part, fantastic. I coloured my hair a couple of days ago and needed something to keep the colour bright, so I grabbed travel sizes of the colour love shampoo and conditioner to see how it goes. It's made my hair feel lovely and soft, so I think it could be a winner.
Does the Burts Bees set contain the Lemon Butter cuticle cream? If so, you're in luck. i swear by that product!
ReplyDeleteIt does indeed.
ReplyDeleteI've been using it for 6 days without any change though. Could just the amount of cleaning and box opening I do at work delaying things though.
